Safety at PitchUnion

Children do not use PitchUnion accounts or receive direct messages. Adult access is limited by verified relationship and football purpose.

Raising a concern

If a child is at immediate risk, contact the police or your local authority first. Do not wait for us.

Otherwise, contact your club’s safeguarding officer, who is responsible for children at your club. You can also raise a concern with us at safeguarding@pitchunion.co.uk. We may suspend an account while we look into a concern, and we may pass information to the appropriate authorities.

Before child profiles

• A designated safeguarding route and deputy must be named.
• The child-data DPIA and legal review must be approved.
• Private-data boundaries and authorization tests must pass.
• Provider contracts, regions and retention settings must be confirmed.
